Exhibition Criteria
GUIDELINES for
Cinco de Mayo Fundraising Exhibition

  • Only the first 55 artists that sign up will be accepted.

  • All art is on 5 x 5 canvas purchased from the gallery at
    the price of $10.00. There is no entry fee.

  • Edges of the canvas will be painted, no frames. Artist
    must attach wire hanger 1 1/2” from top of painting.

  • Each art work will focus on an Hispanic theme and
    contain 2 of the 3 colors of the Mexican flag, green, white
    and red. Art works will be accepted/rejected on this
    criterion.

  • Finished art work will be brought to the gallery
    classroom April 27, 2008 between 3-5 PM. Art work not
    sold should be picked up May 30-31, 2008 .

  • Each art work will sell for $55 plus tax at regular
    commission of 70-30%. There is no entry fee to artist,
    but each artist must work an extra 3 hour shift in the next
    3 months (May, June, & July). Please sign the staffing
    calendar when you deliver your art work.

  • This exhibit will be open to non-member Hispanic artists
    of our local community. We hope to attract new members
    and buyers to our Gallery.

Opening Reception and Wine Tasting

The opening reception kicks off at 5:55 on
the 5th, featuring samplings of Mexican
cerveza and wines of Hispanic influence.
Come taste Malbec and Albarino poured by
Barry Busch, Proprietor,
Lakeside Wine & Spirits.
