Artist of the Month 

MAY 

Shayn Jones began the art of dot painting in March 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. During that time, she purchased her first set of dotting tools, paint, and canvases and tested out dot painting. From there, she enjoyed it so much that she started painting on stones and bookmarks as well. In January 2025, Shayn started her art business, Shayn's Art Studio, with a focus on dot art. 

Outside of dot art, Shayn dabbles in watercolor and gouache painting as well as digital illustration artwork. She works full-time for a local news station in Topeka. In her free time, she enjoys participating in TAG, reading novels, cooking and baking new recipes, and spending quality time with her fiance, family, and friends. 

Shayn became a member of the Topeka Art Guild in 2024, and shortly after in early 2025, she joined the Board for TAG. She enjoys helping the Board plan and promote events.
